LRV Signature

    One integrated commercial team.

A retained partnership for consumer brands with a product that works and a business that needs the commercial side to catch up. We build the plan, create buyer engagement and support commercial execution.

    The right stage

    Who Signature is for

Signature suits brands that are past proving demand and into proving they can be run. Typically a brand with revenue, a team, and either investment or a founder ready to commit to a serious commercial push.

    • You have a product with real traction and want national distribution, not a trial
    • You are entering the UK or Ireland from overseas and need the commercial function built locally
    • You have listings and they are underperforming, and you need to know whether that is the product, the price or the plan

If you are pre-revenue or still working out the range, Endcap is the better place to start and costs a fraction of this.

    The remit

    What the partnership covers

    Route to market.

Which channels, which retailers, in which order, and what it will cost to win each one. Pricing architecture, margin structure and the trade investment you will need to fund.

    Buyer engagement.

We make the introduction, build the category rationale, and sit in the meeting. Grocery multiples, discounters, convenience and symbol, high street, department store and online, across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US.

    Distribution and supply.

National distributors and wholesalers, depot and supply terms, and the forecasting to keep availability where it needs to be once you are listed.

    Commercial governance.

Demand planning, promotional evaluation, trade investment frameworks and a performance scorecard. The part most brands only build after a listing has already gone wrong.

    Working together

    How the partnership runs

    Diagnosis

    Weeks 1 to 3

We go through the numbers, the range, the margin and the pitch as a buyer would. You get an honest read on what is ready and what is not

    Plan

    Weeks 3 to 6

Route to market, retailer priority order, pricing and the commercial case for each target

    In the room

    Month 2 onward

Introductions made, decks built, meetings taken with us alongside you

    Run it

    Ongoing

Forecasting, promotional review, scorecard and the next wave of targets

    Beyond the listing

The marketing that has to sit behind it

A listing is the start of the problem, not the end of it. A buyer will delist a brand that does not sell through, so the commercial plan and the marketing plan have to be the same plan. We build the activation behind the listing: sampling, in-store execution, retail media and the trade marketing calendar that gives the product a reason to move off shelf in its first six months.

    The first conversation

Start with a diagnosis, not a pitch.

The first conversation is us working out whether your brand is ready and whether we are the right firm for it. If the answer is no, we will say so.
